Construction begins at the next month-end, and our on-ground partner completes it in 6–10 weeks. Once your purchased system is completed, we send you your delivery report.
For Shared Project Sponsorship and Open Water Sponsorship, construction begins once every slot in the project or batch is filled, then completed in 6–10 weeks.

Is Thoybah Services a charity?

No. Thoybah Services is a Singapore-registered business, not a registered charity, and we don't solicit donations. Every purchase here is a paid service: you're buying a defined package, and we're accountable for delivering exactly what it describes. Read more on our How We Work page.
Is my payment tax-deductible?

No. As we're not a registered charity, payments made through Thoybah Services are not tax-deductible.
What does my payment cover?

Every package includes a complete system built to suit local conditions by our vetted partner, plus a delivery report with photos once it's complete. Open Water Sponsorship receives a general completion summary for its batch instead.
How will I know when my project has been completed?

You'll receive a delivery report once your system is complete, with photos confirming the build and handover.
What's the difference between Shared Project Sponsorship and Open Water Sponsorship?

With Shared Project Sponsorship, you choose a country and take a dedicated named slot in a specific project. With Open Water Sponsorship, you sponsor a fixed amount with no country choice or dedication, and it's assigned to the next available project batch.
How many names can I include in a dedication?

This depends on the package and country. Community Water Systems allow up to 5 names (Bangladesh) or 7 (Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia). Hand-Pump Water Systems allow up to 3 names (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) or 5 (Cambodia). Shared Project Sponsorship allows one dedication per slot.
When does construction begin?

For Community and Hand-Pump Water Systems, construction begins at month-end of your order, and takes 6–10 weeks from there. For Shared Project Sponsorship and Open Water Sponsorship, construction begins once every slot in the project or batch is filled, at the next month-end, then takes 6–10 weeks.
What happens if a Shared or Open sponsorship doesn't fill up?

Construction only begins once every slot in a project or batch is filled. If a project is still filling, we commit to completing it: filling any remaining slots ourselves if needed, within 2 months of the first slot being sponsored. We'll notify you directly if there's ever a delay. Want your project built sooner? Invite family or friends to take the remaining slots together.
What's your refund and cancellation policy?

All sales are final. Once your order is confirmed, it's relayed to our on-ground team immediately, so payment is non-refundable.
Why doesn't your marketing lead with religious language?

Thoybah's founder started this out of a personal act of faith, and that hasn't changed. But we've found that the strongest way to honour that is to run this as a properly managed, professional service — not to lean on religious appeal to make the sale. You'll find the full devotional register alive and well on our Faith-Based Services page, where it belongs. Here, we'd rather earn your trust the same way any credible service business does: clear pricing, a vetted partner, and proof of delivery.
How is Thoybah different from other providers?

We don't run urgency campaigns, guilt-based appeals, or oversell what a package includes. Sponsoring a water system is a considered decision, and we treat it as one — with fixed pricing, a defined scope, and a report once it's done.
