كُنْ عَالِمًا، أَوْ مُتَعَلِّمًا، أَوْ مُسْتَمِعًا، أَوْ مُحِبًّا، وَلَا تَكُنْ خَامِسًا فَتَهْلِكَ

"Be a scholar, or a student of knowledge, or a listener, or one who loves them. Do not be the fifth, or you will perish." (Narrated by al-Bayhaqi)

Hadramaut has been a centre of Islamic learning for centuries, carried from teacher to student. Sustaining a teacher there is a way to stand among those who love knowledge and its people. Your sponsorship supports one teacher of Islamic studies with a monthly stipend toward their essential expenses, so hardship is never the reason their students lose a teacher. Choose 6 or 12 months to stand with the same teacher for the full term, with updates along the way.
Duration

6 or 12 months: the same teacher, supported for the full term, with updates via WhatsApp.

1 month: one month's stipend for a teacher in our Hadramaut programme, with general updates on our social media.
One teacher per sponsorship • Monthly stipend • Updates included

Who you're supporting

Your sponsorship supports a teacher dedicated to teaching Islamic studies in Hadramaut, Yemen, selected by our vetted partner. Each teacher you sustain carries the learning of their students and their community.

In the areas that include Hadramaut, nearly half the population faces high levels of acute food insecurity: about 5 million people in early 2026. Teachers face the same pressure as the families they serve. (Sources: IPC, UNICEF, WFP)

How your sponsorship is used

Your sponsorship is paid as a monthly stipend to the teacher, easing the cost of their essential expenses so they can focus on teaching and continue serving their students and community. Our vetted partner selects each teacher and manages the stipend on the ground.

Every stipend handover is photographed.

Why it's priced separately: the stipend is set to cover a teacher's essential expenses, which are higher than a student's.
Payment & refunds

We accept PayNow, PayPal and card payments via Stripe. All sales are final: once your order is confirmed, it's relayed to our on-ground team immediately, so payment is non-refundable. See our Terms of Service for details.
